What we collect
Every session starts with an anonymous Firebase Auth account, identified only by a random id. If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, that account is linked to the same id so your progress carries over. We do not collect your name, email, or any other personal data beyond what Google/Apple share during sign-in.
What stays on your device
Game progress, achievements, streaks, settings, and personal-best times are stored locally on your device and are not sent to any server. Board layouts are generated on your device and never uploaded.
Third-party services
- Firebase (Google) — authentication, plus Firebase Analytics, which collects anonymous usage data (for example, which screens are used) to help us improve the game.
- Google AdMob — ads, on mobile builds only. AdMob may use advertising identifiers to personalize ads. On iPhone and iPad, after you've solved a few puzzles the app asks once whether to allow tracking; if you choose "Ask App Not to Track", AdMob does not receive your advertising identifier and shows non-personalized ads instead. You'll see the same number of ads either way. You can change this in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking (iOS) or Settings > Privacy > Ads (Android).
- Google Sign-In / Sign in with Apple — optional account linking.
Data deletion
Deleting your account (Profile → Delete account) permanently removes your Firebase Auth account. Locally stored progress on the device it was played on is not automatically cleared by this action; uninstalling the app (or clearing site data, on web) removes it.
Children's privacy
This app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Changes
This policy may be updated as the app changes. Continued use after a change means you accept the update.
